What you need to get started

The four things in a Fradomos home, and what each one does.

Getting startedUpdated October 9, 2026

A Fradomos home is made of a few simple parts:

  • The Fradomos box (we call it the miniserver). It sits in your home next to the router and is connected to it with a network cable. It is the brain: it remembers your rooms, devices and schedules.
  • Circuit boards. Small boards that switch your lights and appliances, or measure temperature and gas. Each has a QR code.
  • The app on your phone, and optionally a wall panel (a touch screen on the wall).
  • Your Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz) so the circuit boards can talk to the box.

What to do first

  1. Plug the box into power and into your router with the network cable. Wait about two minutes.
  2. Install the app and sign in.
  3. Add a room.
  4. Add a circuit board to the room.
  5. Add your first device, for example the ceiling light.
Tip: Do one room at a time. When the first room works, the next ones are the same steps again.
