How the Fradomos intercom works
A small unit at your door has a microphone, a speaker and a ring button. When somebody presses the button, it plays a chime at the door and Fradomos sends a notification to every person you allow.

A door or a gate, not a room
An intercom belongs to your home, not to a room. Add one for the front door, one for the garden gate and one for the garage, and give each a name you will recognise.
You decide who can answer
Seeing and talking to the door is part of the camera permission. Only the people you allow can listen, talk or look, and only they are told that somebody rang.
Private by design
Nothing is recorded. When you open the intercom you hear the door live, and when you close it nothing is kept. At home it works inside your own network; away from home it goes through the secure remote connection.

Does the intercom have a camera?
The first intercom unit has a microphone, a speaker and a ring button. A version with a camera is planned, and the same app screen will show the picture.
Can I answer from outside my home?
Yes, with remote access switched on. At home you do not need it.
Can I have more than one intercom?
Yes. Add one for every door or gate. Each rings separately and each has its own name.
Is the conversation recorded?
No. Fradomos does not record or keep what is said at the door.
