Set up the wall panel

From a blank memory card to a working touch screen on the wall.

The wall panelUpdated October 9, 2026

The wall panel is a Raspberry Pi with a touch screen that shows Fradomos by itself.

You need

  • A Raspberry Pi 4 with the official 7″ touch display and the official power supply.
  • A memory card prepared with the Fradomos panel software (from us).
  • An account for the panel in your home: in More → People add a person called, for example, “Hall panel”, and choose which rooms it may control. Switch on Cameras and Energy if the panel should show those tabs.

Steps

  1. Put the memory card into the Pi, connect the display and power. The Fradomos logo appears, then the welcome screen.
  2. Step 1 · Network: choose your Wi-Fi and type the password (or just use a network cable).
  3. Step 2 · Your home: the panel looks for your Fradomos box. When your home appears in the list, tap it. (If it is not found, check that the box is on, or type its address.)
  4. Step 3 · Sign in: enter the username and password of the panel’s account.
  5. The panel shows your rooms. Done.

From now on it starts by itself every time it gets power.

Tip: To change the network or home later: panel Settings → Network → Change network or home.
